  • Do I need to already be in shape to start?

    Not at all! Many women begin with little or no fitness or martial arts experience. Our classes are designed to help you build strength, confidence, and endurance at your own pace in a supportive environment.

  • Am I too old to start martial arts?

    We know how busy your life is, so our program is designed for the busy person! Students can make exciting progress by attending classes an average of twice a week.


    Some students will want to attend more classes, and that’s great,  we have options for that!

  • What makes Warrior Women different from a regular fitness class?

  • I’ve never done martial arts before. Will I feel out of place?

    Not at all. Beginners are welcome, and our instructors are patient, encouraging, and experienced in helping women feel comfortable from day one.One of the best parts of our program is that every student is treated as an individual, and will progress at their own rate.


    Each student’s progress isn’t measured against other students, but rather against their own previous performance!


    So even students that aren’t as physically fit as the star quarterback on the football team, can have a wonderful experience in our program, and become stronger, fitter and more flexible.

  • Is the program only about self-defense?

    Self-defense is an important part of the training, but Warrior Women is also about confidence, stress relief, discipline, fitness, and personal empowerment.

  • Will the classes be too intense for me?

    Classes are challenging in a motivating way, but they’re designed for all fitness levels. You’ll never be expected to “keep up” with anyone else — your progress is your own journey.
